Β On November 11, 2024, Rev. Fr. Marlon P. Jardin presided over the first Novena Mass of the Solemnity of Christ the King at the Mother Ignacia Gymnasium in Christ the King College.

This solemnity encouraged CKC staff, students, and other attendees to openly celebrate and deepen their faith. Through a series of narratives about the heavenly realm, Christ the King’s novena touches on various aspects of the evangelical mission, drawing from stories of redemption as its foundation.

The novena aims to allow Christ’s unconditional love for humanity to profoundly resonate within us, encouraging us to recognize the Kingdom’s presence in our own lives, in the lives of others, and in society as a whole.

The success of the mass was further enriched by the dedicated presence of the Higher Education Department, whose devotion to God was strengthened as the Holy Spirit reigned over the mass, touching their souls. Heartfelt gratitude is extended to the Nursing and BSBA students, along with the CKC alumni sponsoring batch, for sponsoring the novena mass. May these novena masses serve as an offering of thanksgiving as we conclude the liturgical year and prepare ourselves for the season of Advent.
