BASIC EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP

B.      SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS

Christ the King College, Gingoog City grants privileges to the students as follows:

1.       Academic Scholarship

• One hundred (100%)   Tuition Fee Discount is granted to the incoming Grade 7 who graduated as Rank 1 of the graduating class with more than 50 pupils. Applicants for this scholarship must present a certification from the Principal of the previous school attended.
• One hundred (100 %) Tuition Fee Discount to Incoming Grade 11 with acquired Final Average Rating of 90 % and above. She/he will just pay miscellaneous and other fees. Applicants for this scholarship must present a certification or a report card from the Principal of the previous school attended.
• One hundred (100%)   Tuition Fee Discount is given to the Incoming Grade 2-10 pupils/students of Christ the King College, Gingoog City who were recognized as rank 1 (based on their Final Grade Average) in their respective levels.
• Fifty Percent (50%)   Tuition Fee Discount is given to the Incoming Grade 2-10 pupils/students of Christ the King College, Gingoog City who were recognized as rank 2 (based on their Final Grade Average) in their respective levels.

* All academic scholars should maintain their ranks and grades in the succeeding year to avail of the same scholarship.

Education Service Contracting (ESC) for Junior High School

• The Education Service Contracting (ESC) Subsidy contracted out by the Department of Education (DepEd) to the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC), which is the trustee of the Fund for Assistance to Private Education (FAPE). The ESC grants are awarded to indigent but deserving students. The equivalent amount for the said subsidy for Grade 7-10 is Nine Thousand Pesos (Php 9,000.00).

Senior High School Voucher Program 

• This is financial assistance from the government given to qualified incoming grade 11 students. This financial assistance lasts for two years to finish the Senior High School program. The equivalent amount for the said subsidy for that Grade 11 from Private ESC Participating Schools and ESC grantee is Fourteen Thousand Pesos (Php 14,000.00) while those from DepEd Schools are Seventeen Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (Php 17,500.00).
