𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐠𝐞: 𝐀 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 | October 12, 2024
It’s that time of the year again! The 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 of the 𝘾𝙆𝘾-𝙄𝙏 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 was successfully held on 12th of October 2024 at the MIDES Gymnasium. Program events like team buildings are held annually during the first semester of the academic year to foster camaraderie and boost team morale of the students belonging to each program of the institution.
The IT Program’s Team Building was officially opened by the IT Program Dean, Dr. Carlito Cabasag, followed by the Mass Dance prepared by the 2nd year IT students. Jenevieve Chacon and Elizabeth Rebonza took charge of the hosting for the one-day event, ensuring the smooth flow of the activities prepared by the officers.
This year’s IT Team Building was divided into 5 teams namely 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐱 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐝𝐬, 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐏𝐢𝐱𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬, and 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝟒𝟎𝟒 𝐄𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫. After the opening remarks, the energy continued to build as each team showcased their creative and lively team chants. 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐱 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 paved way as having the loudest team chant, while 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐝𝐬 was recognized for their team’s impressive attendance. The team chant presentation that showcased the students’ team spirit transitioned into a welcoming rites for the IT Freshmen which was held at the school grounds and later on, gave way for the fun-filled games.
Overall, the IT Program’s team building was a success, uniting IT students from each year level into one. It was a day filled with laughter and teamwork that would definitely strengthen the program’s community for the rest of the academic year, enabling students to feel the shared pride and keep the essence of collaboration in the near future. All thanks to everyone who participated during the event, most especially the IT Program Dean, Dr. Cabasag, and the IT Program officers led by the IT Program President, Mikaela Jane Baranggan, for the efforts exerted in making the activities possible for the IT students! To more good times for the program!
