On October 21, 2024, the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) Program at Christ the King College held a successful Business Tech Orientation. Attendees included students from various schools under the Accountancy, Business, and Management Strand: Portulin National High School, Gingoog City Comprehensive National High School, Christ the King College Senior High, and the Information Technology Program of Christ the King College, all gathered to learn about business technology.

The event began with a warm welcome address by Ms. Kimberlie L. Carcido, LPT, MA-HRD, the head of the BSBA program, who emphasized the importance of embracing technology in the business world. This was followed by an inspiring message from the School President, S. Ma. Anecita C. Navaja, RVM, setting the tone for a day filled with learning and inspiration.

Guest speaker Mr. Karl Dominic Fajardo, Co-Founder and Business Development Head of Learning Opportun-IT and Serial Disruptors, addressed the audience on the topic โ€œCollaborative Innovation in the Digital Age: Turning Ideas into Reality for Business Success.โ€ His presentation sparked lively discussions and ignited a passion for innovation among the attendees. Several students eagerly asked questions, further enriching the dialogue and deepening their understanding of the transformative power of collaborative innovation in the digital era.

The program concluded with a closing address by Mr. Paolo M. Valencia, who emphasized the eventโ€™s accomplishments and Christ the King Collegeโ€™s ongoing commitment to empowering students in the ever-evolving business technology landscape.
