Christ the King College extended assistance to 25 families affected by a recent fire incident in Barangay 23, Gingoog City, as part of its continuing commitment to community service and compassionate outreach. In response to the victims’ urgent needs, the school distributed 10 liters of water and 5 kilograms of rice to each affected family. Also given were used clothes and other essential items generously collected from the Basic Education Department and the Higher Education Department, reflecting the united effort of the CKC community to bring immediate relief and comfort to those in need. The outreach team was warmly accommodated by the Brgy. Captain, Hon. Amelita Paje, whose support helped facilitate the activity in the community.

Representing the institution at the outreach activity were the Dean of Student Affairs and Services, G. Paul Rem Jee Diaz, LPT, MAFil, and the officers of the Christ the King College Supreme Student Council (CKCSSC). Their presence highlighted the institution’s shared mission of service, compassion, and solidarity with the community, especially in times of crisis. Through this initiative, CKC once again embodied the Ignacian-Marian spirit of reaching out to the vulnerable and reminding the fire-affected families that they are not alone as they begin to recover and rebuild. We are here for you, our ka-barangays.

Consent was duly secured from the recipients before the distribution and documentation of the outreach activity.
