Christ the King College joined the 59th ASEAN Founding Anniversary Culminating Activity of the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office X on August 27, 2026, at the Tangub City People’s Gym, Tangub City, Misamis Occidental. Representing CKC were Mr. Paul John B. Panganiban, LPT, MSTM, Internationalization Officer, and Mr. Pericles G. Aninion, MPM, Institutional Quality Assurance Head. Anchored on the Philippine ASEAN Chairship theme, Setting Sail for ASEAN 2026: Navigating Our Future, Together,” the gathering brought together higher education institutions across the region in celebration of ASEAN unity, cooperation, and internationalization.

The celebration featured a Solidarity Parade of ASEAN Nations followed by the program proper, underscoring the shared commitment of higher education institutions to inclusive education, sustainable development, and stronger regional partnerships. CKC’s participation reflects its continuing journey toward meaningful international engagement and preparing CKCians to become globally aware, culturally responsive, and future-ready learners—carrying the values of The School We Love beyond borders.
