The Higher Education Department of Christ the King College ushered in the new academic year with its highly successful Kick Off 2025 College Orientation Day on July 2, 2025. Held at the Mother Ignacia Gym, the event, themed “Called to Lead, Formed to Serve: The Ignacian-Marian Way Forward,” formally introduced the college’s faculty and staff to the new students.
Mr. Pericles G. Aninion, MPM, Quality Assurance Coordinator, presented the Non-Teaching Personnel. Alongside him was Dr. Carmelita C. Labadan, Ph.D., Vice President for Academic Affairs, who introduced the Program Heads and Faculty. She also emphasized the importance of the college’s vision, mission, goals, and objectives. Mr. Paul Rem Jee Diaz, LPT, MAFil, Ph.D. (Occ.), Dean of Student Affairs, detailed the Student Affairs Office’s functions and new school policies.
The orientation also featured an extensive co-curricular club and organization fair. Advisers highlighted the diverse range of clubs, encouraging students to explore their interests and join organizations that align with their skills and passions. The persuasive and engaging presentations of the club officers provided students with opportunities to engage and select clubs best suited to their interests.
The orientation concluded with a sense of excitement and anticipation for the year ahead. It was a chance to begin anew and engage in learning. Students left feeling motivated and ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities of the new academic year.
