Gingoog City — August 15, 2026. Christ the King College (CKC) strengthened its connection with the local community through a Community Involvement Program (CIP) held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 15, outside the Christ the King College premises.
Initiated by the Community Involvement Program (CIP) under the coordination of Ms. Hyacinth Berdelao, CIP Coordinator, the activity brought together CKC faculty and staff, tricycle drivers, and members of the surrounding community, highlighting the institution’s commitment to building meaningful relationships beyond the school grounds.
The program provided an opportunity for CKC representatives to engage with people in the community, promote cooperation, and foster a spirit of service and inclusivity. The participation of tricycle drivers and community members also emphasized the important role of local stakeholders in supporting the school and its activities.
Through the initiative, CKC demonstrated that community involvement extends beyond academic responsibilities. By reaching out to the people around the campus, the institution continues to encourage collaboration, mutual respect, and shared responsibility between the school and the community.
