As the new school year is swept into motion, the Christ the King College community brews in excitement for the events lined up for the month of July. On July 4, 2025, the Basic Education Department formally launched Nutrition Month 2025 in the Mother Ignacia Gym with a theme, βSa PPAN: Sama-samang Pagkilos ng mga CKCiansΒ Para sa Nutrisyong Sapat, Kalusugan ng Lahatβ.
The launch began with a prayer led by Senior High School Student Council President Xianne Go, which was followed by the singing of the National Anthem and School Hymn. Afterwards, a Zumba dance led by the Senior High School students energized the crowd, who followed along, dancing and moving to the music.Β
Ms. Jesza Lugpit, the MAPEH teacher of the Junior High School Department, formally introduced the activities lined up for each grade level for Nutrition Month, detailing the specified dates and assigned venues per event. This yearβs celebration includes a range of engaging and enlightening activities, offering the students an opportunity to showcase their talent and aptitude in various aspects, whilst also educating them on the importance of healthy and proper eating habits.
This yearβs celebration of Nutrition Month serves as a reflection of Christ the King Collegeβs commitment to ensuring an exciting yet informative education. The festivity ignites the wellspring of ambition inside each student as it brings together the community in the spirit of friendly competitiveness.Β
