On October 23, 2025, the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) brought together aspiring campus journalists of Gingoog City in a shared mission to uphold truth and transparency through the power of words.
The Basic Education Department of Christ the King College participated in this event. With the theme “Campus Journalism for Trust and Transparency: Navigating Change with Integrity,” the event highlighted the vital role of the student press as a beacon of clarity and credibility in today’s media landscape.
Through every tapestry of stories written and spoken echoes a paragon of the golden thread that binds reality — that even the wins and losses of the participants are tokens of opportunity and flames that never falter.
It was more than a competition; it was the unwavering pursuit of the young Gingoognon students to voice righteousness — just as we all serve a purpose as stewards of God’s creation.
