The Mother Ignacia Gymnasium was filled with a vibrant blend of faith and international camaraderie on October 27, 2025, as CKCians gathered for the joint culmination of the Holy Rosary Month and United Nations Celebration. The event beautifully fused spiritual devotion with a tribute to global unity and peace.
The heart of the celebration was the breathtaking Living Rosary. Students, teachers, and staff formed a majestic human outline of the Rosary, transforming the gym floor into a powerful symbol of communal prayer. The solemn recitation of the prayers was led by Richard Jay D. Labarinto and Merry Karmel Ursula Cacayan, guiding the community through each mystery. The experience was made deeply reflective and immersive through a roleplay focusing on the Glorious Mysteries. The solemnity of the prayer and the dedication in the performance created a palpable atmosphere of faith throughout the Mother Ignacia Gymnasium.
Following the spiritual reflection, the atmosphere shifted to one of festive global celebration as participants proceeded to a parade around the school grounds. This lively procession was a joyful blend of the two culminating events. Students in the Junior High School level, still dressed as Saints from the Living Rosary, continued to embody figures of faith. The Senior High School students stole the show, however, by wearing a spectacular array of national costumes from around the world for the UN Day celebration.
The parade was a powerful visual testament to the community’s commitment to both their faith and the global ideals of peace, cultural diversity, and unity. It was a fitting and energetic finale to a day of profound significance, reminding everyone that the path to peace is found in both prayer and global understanding.
