Christ the King College officially opens much-anticipated CKC Kings Cup with Opening Parade, gathering pupils, students and personnel from different academic programs in a display of unity, school spirit, and sportsmanship through the streets of the National Highway.
The parade began at 6:30 in the morning, with the School Band and Lyre of the Basic Education Department, then followed by Student Leaders from the Higher Education Department, together with the school administrators, faculty members, non-teaching personnel, and the medic team, as they proudly march under their respective house teams.
With the different houses taking part in the opening festivities, the parade served as the first major gathering of the competing teams before the sporting events officially begin. Each house brought its own identity and enthusiasm, setting an energetic tone for the days of competition ahead.
