The Basic Education Department extends heartfelt congratulations to our esteemed teachers for successfully completing the 2024 PEAC In-Service Training for Junior High School Teachers, held from June 17-19, 2024, at Lourdes College, Cagayan de Oro City. The PEAC, in collaboration with the Department of Education, co-implements the INSET under the GASTPE program.

This year’s theme for the Junior High School INSET was “Teaching Students to be Future Ready in a VUCAD World with 21st Century Skills and Mastery of MATATAG Learning Competencies.” The training program has effectively equipped our teachers with skills to develop standards-based curriculum maps, learning plans, and innovative applications of 21st-century skills, ensuring mastery of Grade 7 standards and learning competencies.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all the PEAC Trainers for their expertise shared and guidance throughout the 3-day training. Furthermore, we express our humble thanks to the school administration for their unwavering support and commitment in guiding teachers and providing them with such invaluable professional learning opportunities.
