On July 31, 2025, Christ the King Collegeโthe Junior High School Departmentโheld its Nutrition Month Culmination Program at the Mother Ignacia Gymnasium, in line with the annual observance of Nutrition Month every July. This yearโs theme, โSa PPAN: Sama-samang Pagkilos ng mga CKCians para sa Nutrisyong Sapat, Kalusugan ng Lahat,โ emphasized the power of collective action in achieving better health through proper nutrition. The event featured both fun-filled and meaningful activities, which brought the CKC community together in the spirit of wellness and unity.
The sharp minds of the students who are filled with potential expressed their insights on the Nutri-Essay contest. Their creativity and talent were also shown in the poster-making and bulletin board contests. Young chefs from Grade 7 to Grade 10 showcased their skills in cooking through their tasty and healthy Pinakbet and Bas-oy dishes, whilst the display of fruits and vegetables in the gymnasium filled the venue with bright and colorful energy that celebrated the beauty of healthy choices. The Nutri-Jingle highlighted unison during the program by bringing upbeat tunes and friendship to the atmosphere.
The program concluded with bright smiles on the faces of the CKCians, proud to have learned more about proper nutrition throughout the one month of shared experience in preparation for this event. To ensure a healthy future, fuel each day with consistent healthy choices. Our proper nutrition should not be an option but rather a committed action.
