Objectives of the KINDERGARTEN Education
At the end of their training in Kindergarten, CKCians are expected to:
1. identify basic Christian beliefs, values, and attitudes;
2. recognize God as our Loving Father and recite basic Christian prayers;
3. acknowledge Mary as our mother and model and Venerable Ignacia del Espiritu
Santo as inspiration in dealing with others;
4. acquire and exhibit basic beginning skills in numeracy and literacy; and
5. manifest a sense of communion and stewardship through caring for oneself, others, as well as the environment, and appreciate Filipino culture and Catholic traditions in the search for truth, beauty, and goodness.
Objectives of the Grade School Program
At the end of their Grade School Education, CKCians are expected to:
1. acquire the basic knowledge and develop the skills, attitudes, and values, including their moral and spiritual foundation essential to their personal and life-long development to cope with and contribute to the changing social milieu;
2. increase their awareness of and responsiveness to the changes in society, and intensify their love for the nation and the people to which they belong;
3. manifest an awareness that Christ is the center of their lives where faith, hope, and charity abound as they live a life of excellence and service, especially to the poor with Mary as the model and Mother Ignacia del Espiritu Santo as inspiration in promoting quality transformative Ignacian Marian education; (Christian Formation)
4. equip with the five macro-skills – speaking, listening, writing, reading, and viewing –across grade levels to enhance communication proficiency and nurture Filipino and Christian values (English);
5. nahuhubog at nalilinang ang kasanayan sa pakikipagtalastasan – pakikinig, pagsasalita, pagbasa, pagsulat at panonood nang may sariling disiplina – at nabibigyang diin ang mga kahalagahang pangkatauhan tungo sa pagiging mabuting kasapi ng pamilya at pamayanan (Filipino);
6. acquire functional scientific literacy and basic concepts and principles that will enable them to act as stewards of God’s creation and integrate science and technology in the personal, social, economic, and ethical aspects of life (Science);
7. manifest a disciplined mind and demonstrate basic computational knowledge, processes, and skills in number sense and measurement, logical and critical thinking, and applying acquired concepts with accuracy, precision, and consistency which are essential to practical life situations (Mathematics);
8. nahuhubog bilang isang Kristyanong Pilipinong may pagpapahalaga sa kanyang mga karapatan, naisasabuhay ang positibong saloobin at responsableng nagagampanan ang tungkulin sa pangangalaga sa mga nilikha ng Maykapal; nalilinang at naibabahagi ang kultura at tradisyong Pilipino sa pagbuo ng isang makabagong pamayanan; at napagyayaman ang mapanuri at malikhaing pag-iisip tungo sa mapanagutang pagpapasya sa mga usaping kinakaharap ng pamayanan, bansa at daigdig (AP);
9. develop knowledge, skills, and values to be self-sufficient and knowledgeable with the global changes and trends and able to improve self, family, and community life through livelihood development, and technology (EPP);
10. acquire competencies necessary for musical, artistic, and physical development and cultural literacy that empower their Filipino identity, and expand their vision of the world (MAPEH).
