𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | The 4th Year Nursing Students of Christ the King College were invited to attend the Nursing Law Symposium this day Saturday, August 16, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN at NLR 101. This event strengthened their understanding of the legal and ethical aspects of nursing practice.

We were privileged to have Atty. Fernando Teodulo T. Ortigoza, RN, JD, as our guest speaker. He discussed key topics such as RA 9173, the scope and prohibitions of nursing practice, and the Filipino Patients’ Bill of Rights.

The symposium also covered important case studies, including the Somera Case and other legal nursing cases. This meaningful learning experience prepared future nurses to uphold patient rights and practice within the law.
